OUR AGED BEEF

Now you can purchase your all natural, dry-aged, lean beef directly from the ranch!  "JX Ranch Natural Beef" comes with our guarantee that it hormone free and has never been given any growth-hormones, antibiotics, ionophores, insecticides or animal bi-products, that the animal has been handled humanely and raised in its natural environment on native pasture its entire life.  You can purchase a whole beef, a side of beef or a quarter of a beef for around $4.50 per pound - dry-aged, custom cut and packaged as per your Order Form.  Some of our customers get together with friends and neighbors and split a beef.  If freezer space is limited, you may want to try our smaller 20 - 25 lb Variety Pack.  You can also ask for your beef to be lightly grain supplemented for 30 days while still grazing on pasture.  "JX Ranch Natural Beef" can be shipped to you anywhere in the continental U.S.A.

OUR CATTLE

"JX Ranch Natural Beef" graze free-range their entire life on our family-owned and operated cattle ranch located in eastern New Mexico, along the rugged escarpment known as the Caprock.  Using holistic range management practices, we rotate our cattle frequently through the pastures to promote vegetative growth, and handle the cattle in a no-stress manner. We don't use any fertilizers, chemicals or pesticides - the cattle graze only native grasses which are naturally strong and nutritious. Horses are still an integral part of Western ranching life, and are still the best and quietest way to work cattle  Besides, we enjoy the quiet and solitude of being horseback when checking or moving our cattle. 

"JX Ranch Natural Beef" are younger than the industrial cattle that are finished in feedlots, therefore, cuts like steaks are also smaller.  Our cattle are efficient converters of available forage to energy, producing lean muscle with little waste in fat.  Lean meat from grass-fed beef has less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories. It also has more vitamin E, beta-carotene, vitamin C, and a number of health-promoting fats, including omega-3 fatty acids and “conjugated linoleic acid,” or CLA.
