SHIPPING INFORMATION

Finding cost-effective shipping options for our frozen beef has proven to be one of the biggest challenges we have faced.  Since we a family ranch and not a large company that can negotiate special shipping rates with UPS and FedEx, we have to use their regular retail rates.   Our priority is to ensure that our frozen beef arrives frozen, we also strive to keep the shipping cost as affordable and reasonable as possible for you, our valued customer. 

We have decided, for the time being, to determine the shipping charge on an individual basis for shipments to States other than New Mexico.  This way, we can "shop around" for the best alternative, taking into consideration time in transit, cost and season - summer time shipments are far more delicate than shipments during the winter months. When you check out, you will be charged the regular shipping rate within New Mexico. If you live outside of New Mexico, we will contact you if the shipping rate is higher to your area.

Shipments within the State of New Mexico are readily shipped with UPS Ground, arriving at destination the following day.  Shipments Out-of-State may go with UPS Ground, 3-Day Select, or Air.

We pack the frozen beef packages in insulated shipping containers, using dry-ice and/or gel-packs. Please ensure that someone is available to receive the box when it is delivered and place the frozen beef packages in your freezer immediately upon arrival. Occasionally, some thawing of the outer edges may be present, however, as long as the packages are still very cold ( <40 degrees F), you can safely place them in the freezer.  Limited thawing and re-freezing is not a safety issue. However, if the meat packages are not cold, or you have any hesitation whatsoever, dispose of the meat and contact us immediately.
